“ God since moving to Colorado I had forgotten what good Dim Sum tasted like. Welp thank you Pearl Harbour Front for reminding me how good Peking Duck, Dumplings, Baos, Har gow, Shumai...could taste. Excellent restaurant with great service. If you can get a table with a view.. Place gets busy so keep that in mind. Would most def come back....If you want a cheaper alternative Dim Sum King would fit the bill...but don't expect the same kind of experience ”

“ My family and I always come here for either lunch or dinner when family gets together. We love how spacious the location is, and how we get the view of the Harbourfront and the lake. We always find opportunities to have Peking duck, even during lunch time / dim sum time. For 1 peking duck, plus the meat all chopped up for us, it can easily feed 4 people. The service is really good, and the food is always delicious. ”

“ Hands down one of my favourite dimsum spot over the decades. It's where I go to have a "good dimsum" vs Chinatown. It's also a great place to have a banquet dinner (I had one of the babies one month celebration here). The quality of the food is excellent, and so is the service! Very friendly and happy staff. The view of the lake is stunning in any season. If you want a table overlooking the lake and don't want to wait too long, go during the week. ”

“ There are a lot of amazing choices for Dim Sum in Toronto, and the experts will know that the best places are around Markham and Scarborough. But for most people living downtown, that's way too big an effort to drive there, so it's only fair to compare Pearl with what's available downtown. Once again, Dim Sum spots downtown are all concentrated in Chinatown, except for this one. Pearl has decided to place itself on the edge of the pier, with a stunning view facing Lake Ontario, which might give it the title of Dim Sum place with the most beautiful view in Eastern Canada. The food is as yummy as any other place, maybe a bit cleaner. Your mind will not be blown, but you will find what you're looking for. It is a solid choice to have in your brunch arsenal and is most definitely worth the try. ”

“ First, you come here because it's got a gorgeous view of the lake. We came on a stunning sunny day. Second, the dim sum was on the whole, very good, for the non-vegan dishes. Shu Mai, chive "hockey pucks", tofu skin rolls, green beans, spare ribs were all good. Sesame balls and rice noodle with you tiao also were very good. The somewhat disappointing dishes were for our vegan, vegetable dumplings, vegetable rice noodle, honey mushrooms. We had leftovers of all of those which was telling. Service was typical of dim sum restaurants-meaning never got our tea, and never got our ham sui gok (footballs) that are my second favorite dish after Chive dumplings. Which if I wasn't already so full I would have asked for. But overall, if I lived in Toronto, I would regularly come for the "right" dishes and the view! ”

“ Came for a private birthday dinner so there were four tables reserved just for us. They gave us a section of the restaurant that was away from the main dining area. Had designated servers for our section and overlooked the harbour even though we couldn't see it since it was dark out. I think the closest parking is underground, outside of Harbourfront centre. But you can imagine how expensive parking was - a whole whopping $30 - YIKES! Now onto the food. We got a pre-planned course dinner for all four tables and was not left disappointed at all. The food kept coming out and every single dish was so delicious. It's a Chinese restaurant, so it's all family style for serving. You're also able to bring your own alcohol, there is just a corkage fee per bottle. Still works out to be cheaper to bring your own alcohol (if it's an expensive one) than to purchase from the restaurant. Servers were attentive and brought out things we needed/ requested quite quickly. The restaurant does close early though (9:30PM), so you'll have to get in your meal earlier as well. We were one of the last ones to leave the restaurant. Overall, a great place for dinner especially if you have a larger party. Heard they also do dim sum here as well - can't wait to try it. ”

“ It's on the 2nd floor !! It's got an amazing view of lake, and comfortable seating. Overall, Good selections of authentic Cantonese dim sum, excellent quality with good ambiance and service. Dim Sums are ordered from a list instead of push carts. The pro is everything is made to order and served hot, the con is it takes a while for food to come out. Also, we got the desserts first and we had to wait a while for the spareribs, kind of upside down. My suggestion is to leave off the sweets and add them at the middle of the meal. No prices are shown for the individual items only category such as Small, Large, Special, etc. I am posting my bill as a reference. Also, everything we ordered were very good, and highly recommended. - Curry cuddle fish: relatively unique item for dim sum, served with delicious curry sauce - Siu Mai: excellent quality with a shrimp on top - Steamed Duck Egg Yolk bun: amazing dessert! Served hot with egg yolk oozing out like lava! - Fried Todu stuffed with Shrimp: shrimp paste fried with tofu, slightly crunch and hot outside, tofu is hot and sof inside - Steamed spareribs: one of the standard dim sum items, theirs is substantial and tasty with healthy dose of garlic Tip: if you like to sit by the window but not available and nobody else is waiting, it's worthwhile to wait for a few minutes since normally spaces get free up fairly quickly. Restroom: (only went to Men's) was a little dark but it's relatively clean. 4/5 stars. My wife said the ladies side was not as dark. Parking: plenty of underground parking, but no validation(!) ”
